Foundation for Independent Artists

Foundation for Independent Artists (FIA) is a comprehensive fiscal sponsorship program providing performing artists with a corporate “home,” 501(c)(3) incorporation without the challenges of incorporating. Participating artists work with a dedicated team to build their financial infrastructure, implement best business practices, and work towards a sustainable creative practice.

FIA is ideal for performing artists looking for financial services, insurance, and the ability to raise contributed income, without incurring the cost of hiring in-house staff, and also who are open to exploring sustainable and affordable management models.
