A Screening and Discussion with Susan Osberg

Susan Osberg’s current film project, Remembering Pina, is a poetic tribute to the late German choreographer, Pina Bausch, whose theatrical work has been highly influential on generations of choreographers and performers. Adapting her choreography for screen, Susan will present sections of her film-in-progress, and give the audience control over the narrative, much like a “choose your own adventure” 
book. Each section can stand on it’s own but seen in a sequence of the audience’s choosing, a story will start to emerge.

The film features Osberg with a talented cast of local and New York City-based performers including, Alex Bloomstein, Marika Blossfeldt, Elizabeth Castagna, Catlin Cobb, Anna Brady Nuse, Rain Saukas, and Alexis Steeves. Cinematography is by Beacon photographer, Tom Moore. The screening is to take place at Beahive in Beacon, NY at 7:30pm on Friday, April 10th.
