This workshop will begin by reviewing basic accounting principles and looking at organizational strategies, as it pertains to the non-profit arts structure. It will conclude by discussing how to help the arts become more sustainable. This workshop is designed for emerging or established artists and companies of all sizes.
Workshop #2 – November 16th: Bookkeeping Systems to Help You Survive an Audit
Pentacle’s Director of Fiscal Services will lead a workshop in how to best prepare for an audit. Reviewing basic accounting principles and looking at the most effective organizational strategies will generate the foundation necessary for a smooth audit process. You will learn how to create and maintain bookkeeping systems that could prevent an audit nightmare. This workshop is designed for emerging or established artists and companies of all sizes.
