Pentacle Legacy: The Foundation for Independent Artists

[1981] Pentacle Creates Foundation for Independent Artists

We are diving into our archival materials and excited to share finds from Pentacle’s Legacy project on #WayBackWednesdays.

On this Way Back Wednesday, we are sharing Pentacle’s Foundation for Independent Artists (FIA):

Since its creation in 1981, FIA has been a one-of-a-kind fiscal sponsorship program that provides artists and organizations with tailored fiscal administration services and all the benefits of incorporation. Notable artists and companies that have been supported by Pentacle’s FIA include Eiko & Koma, Bebe Miller, Mark Morris, Ohad Naharin, and Urban Bush Women.

FIA currently serves 22 artists and companies including Ephrat Asherie Dance, Nora Chipaumire, Emily Johnson, Jeremy McQueen/The Black Iris Project, Bridgman|Packer Dance, and Pam Tanowitz.
