With the amicable departure of David Claps, Pentacle is pleased to announce that Clarissa Soto has been appointed to the position of Director of Fiscal Services. Clarissa has played a key role in the fiscal department for the past four years, serving as a fiscal administrator for a range of non-profit dance companies. As Director of Fiscal Services she will take on a leadership role for the department, oversee the fiscal services staff, and strategize new ways of meeting the fiscal needs of dance artists and companies.
Alex Goleman has been hired to serve as a full time fiscal associate in the department. Hailing from New Hampshire, Alex gained his BBA from Hofstra University, and participated as an intern in Pentacle’s Cultivating Leadership in Dance (CLD). He is currently pursuing his MBA from Baruch College. Alex has performed in various dance and theater productions in the New York Metropolitan area, and is very excited to bring his experience with business and the arts to Pentacle.
Quincie Hydock has been appointed Program Coordinator of Pentacle’s Cultivating Leadership in Dance (CLD). In this role, Quincie will work under the directorship of Clarissa Soto, to oversee the day-to-day implementation of this 8-week program that runs three times per year. CLD pairs young arts administrators with dance artists and organizations in a customized and structured internship program that offers training and networking opportunities to the interns and vital infrastructure support to the artists.
