Pentacle, a leader in providing services for dance artists since 1976, is thrilled to announce our call for LOIs for ART (Administrative Resource Team).  ART will provide 16 dance artists and/or companies with professional assessments of their current artistic and organizational capacity.  Of this group, 8 artists, selected by an independent panel, will over a period of 2 years, receive mentorship from leaders in the field, comprehensive administrative services and staffing, as well as access to funds to directly support their projects.  The remaining 8 artists will serve as a comparison group, and will receive two monetary awards (one at the beginning and one at the end of the program period) for their participation.  With the comparative study between the capacity-building and comparison cohorts, the dance field will have solid data evaluating the effectiveness of bundled infrastructure support for emerging artists. We are seeking a group of diverse and exciting artists to participate in this program that we believe will be vital to advancing new voices in the New York City Dance Community.
