Pentacle and DRC are joining forces to offer stronger support for Greater Los Angeles dance makers and stakeholders. Allied in mission, though diverse in methods of fulfilling their vision, DRC and Pentacle will explore ways to develop a cohesive fabric of programming for its constituents. This organizational collaboration is a living statement of our commitment to adaptive and innovative organizational thinking.

Both organizations’ Boards have expressed enthusiasm for this experiment. “Pentacle is excited to work with DRC in a unique collaboration to grow and diversify both organizations’ support of the Greater LA dance community” (Patty Bryan, Chair, Pentacle Board of Directors). “This new and exciting partnership with Pentacle will allow DRC to more actively respond to the ever-changing needs of LA area dance stakeholders. Through advocacy, education, and service, this partnership will expand the range of opportunities for the dance community. The DRC Board is thrilled that we can be forward – thinking about strategic ways to activate a more vibrant dance ecology for our members” (Ben Johnson, DRC Board of Directors).

A collaborative effort to bolster each other’s infrastructures will allow DRC and Pentacle to become even more stable and sustainable organizations, increasing their ability to serve all stakeholders in the dance community
