[1985] New Multi-Use Facility Opens – The Pentacle Space
We are diving into our archival materials and excited to share finds from Pentacle’s Legacy project on #WayBackWednesdays.
On this Way Back Wednesday, we are going inside 104 Franklin Street. In 1985, Pentacle received a National Endowment for the Arts Advancement Program Grant, which enabled the leasing of the building’s 3rd floor for office space and for the creation of The Pentacle Space, a multi-use facility, on the 4th floor. Thousands of New York, national, and international artists and companies used The Pentacle Space at 104 Franklin, where Pentacle operated out of from 1982-1999, the longest place it has occupied to date.
