Pentacle’s Career & Professional Development cultivates the next generation of arts leaders through structured programs that include internship hours, professional development training, mentorship, and a peer network of colleagues in the field.
Individuals Seeking Internships
Pentacle’s Arts Administration Internship Program seeks college students, recent graduates, or individuals above the age of 18 who are passionate about the arts, and interested in expanding their knowledge of the nonprofit arts sector. Selected interns are placed with a participating individual artist or nonprofit arts organization that shares their interests and goals. Throughout the program, interns gain hands-on experience in nonprofit business practices and attend weekly Professional Development seminars led by Pentacle staff members and visiting arts professionals.
Artistic Entities Seeking Interns
Pentacle’s Arts Administration Internship Program seeks individual artists and artistic entities who are interested in expanding their administrative capacity through a structured internship program. The program matches each participating entity with a college or post-graduate intern for 10 hours/week for a period of eight weeks.
Arts Management Fellowship
This multi-year program nurtures a next generation of arts workers providing holistic, nonjudgmental support and nonhierarchical mentorship aimed at encouraging them to remain and thrive in the arts sector. The Arts Management Fellowship focuses on working with mid-career arts workers traditionally denied equitable access to job growth and professional development.
